Trail of Ember was inspired by annotated hiking maps and the satisfying moment when a route finally becomes clear. We translated that feeling into a pocket-sized expedition with bold stamps, rough borders and discoveries that change from round to round.
Delvoro Studio prototyped the board with wooden squares before moving it to the browser. The map is deliberately small: meaningful choices arrive immediately and a complete expedition fits into a few minutes.
Your welcome bundle starts each expedition with two trail sparks. Discover a spring for a surprise bonus, or reach the summit with energy remaining to earn the Pathfinder ribbon. All items exist only inside the game.
